Situated in Glassell Park on a slim, odd shape lot, this speculative house consisted of 3 bedrooms, 3.75 bathrooms, in a space only 18 feet wide. The exterior of the house consist of a series of planes that interlock and slip past one another to create an interesting sculptural shape. While the house has lots of glass, the cost of construction was kept down by utilizing earthquake resistant walls in lieu of steel earthquake resistant frames. The blue color frames are panels of Trespa, a plastic sheet product, used to contrast with the smooth white plaster shapes.
